Desired Experience

• Previous experience in transport, logistics, fleet administration, or a similar operational role  
• Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS)  
• Understanding of transport office procedures and industry documentation  
• Experience with telematics, fleet tracking, or compliance systems is advantageous  
• Strong IT skills and confidence working with software platforms  
• Excellent organisational and communication skills

Transport Administration & Operations

• Assist the Transport Planner with creating and managing daily transport jobs  
• Update and maintain jobs within the Transport Management System (TMS)  
• Send work instructions and updates to drivers  
• Manage transport paperwork and operational documentation  
• Process, scan, file, and issue Proofs of Delivery (PODs)  
• Maintain accurate operational records  
• Support day-to-day transport office activities  

Fleet & Compliance

• Assist with vehicle maintenance scheduling and administration  
• Monitor tachograph compliance  
• Maintain fleet records and compliance documentation  
• Support management of vehicle camera and telematics systems  

Driver Performance & Reporting

• Monitor telematics data and produce driver performance reports  
• Track idling times, fuel efficiency, utilisation, and operational KPIs  
• Support driver coaching initiatives using performance data  
• Identify trends to improve operational efficiency and profitability  

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve systems and workflows  
• Support implementation of new technologies and digital tools  
• Work with management to improve margins and reduce waste  
• Help develop data-driven reporting for better business decisions
